Description

This auction is for an extremely well cared for Classic 1979 Volkswagen Beetle Cabriolet. This convertible is the deluxe model and the last year built in the Karmann factory. it's in great condition inside and out and it runs great. This vehicle has been very well taken care of and always serviced when needed. records available from the past 15 years. The car is factory fuel injected and it starts right up on the first turn of the key. The exterior paint shines very nice but there are areas with a bit of fading as you can see in the pictures. There are a few small dings and nicks but nothing that stands out or needs any immediate attention. Its a California car which has solid floors. no rotting and only has some surface rust under the spare tire. The Convertible top is cloth Stayfast material and not the cheap vinyl top. it works perfect and looks very nice (no rips or tears). The headliner in the top is also in great shape and the top does function as it should. There is a black convertible top boot that is included and seen in pics. The seats are in good shape. The engine runs excellent and starts right up every time. The clutch feels great and the transmission shifts perfect through all gears. The tires are new and they ride great. The brakes stop as they should and the steering feels solid. headlights and turn signals all work excellent. All glass is in great shape as is the chrome window trim. This is a very reliable vehicle that can be driven daily without any issues; ready for a new owner. It also has PASSED the strict California Smog test without any issues.
