Description

For sale is one of the last Volkswagen Beetle Convertibles built at Karmann in Osnabrueck. Germany in 1979 with only 27. 20 original miles. This is probably the cleanest and most original car you can get of its kind. It is River Blue Metallic with a black Top and black interior. Everything you can see is original - even the Michelin tires - and it is accident- and rust-free!This very car is featured on the cover page of the current March-April issue of Black Book's "Collectible Vehicle Value Guide". Black Book is listing these vehicles in excellent condition at $19. 50. The car runs great even though it was only driven to be kept maintained. It only has a little whole in the exhaust (see photo) and the backrest of the front seats lost their original softness. The rest looks and feels great. All documents and many service records are available. I bought it from a gentlemen who kept it for over 30 years in his garage. My plan was to keep this adorable car as it is a true vintage classic masterpiece. But now unfortunately I will need to let it go.
