This 10/1955 production oval window Beetle has not been restored. It is in remarkable condition. This car was put into a collection in Europe in the seventies and was moved to the US in 1982 when it was Purchased by New Milford Volkswagen in New Milford Ct where it has been on display in a climate controlled environment since. It has been cared for properly. New Milford VW opened late in 1950 and is one of the oldest VW dealers in the US. We are now closing and will be selling this and a 1967 Single cab that has 23. 00 miles on it. The pictures tell the story. nbsp; there are few of these left in unrestored condition and considering that this car is now 60 years old its condition and originality make this car very unique. This is a rare opportunity to own a beetle of this quality. This car starts. runs and drives as it should. the brakes. clutch . steering etc. all work. the charging system is fully functional the car is driven occasionally. as been to a few shows in CT and always driven to them. The odometer is in Kilometers. when calculated is 43. 80 miles. The tires and spare on this car have not been changed since before the car came to the us in 1982. They may be original to the car. which means they likely should not be driven on for any distance. Sold on a bill of sale. with original documentation from sweeen. Happy to answer questions.
