1973 Volkswagen Gazelle Kit Car
I purchased in 2015 from a coworker. His dad purchesed kit car new from builder drove it a few years and parked it. He gave it to his son and he got it going in 2008, lost interest and parked again., I tried to purchase in 2009/2010 he would not sell. He called me in 2015 said he was moving and had to sell, got it stated and drove it home.

Car runs and shifts great, great sounding motor with great power.
I would get in this car and trust it and drive it anywhere, but remember it is a 43 year old car.
Since then I have cleaned and rebuilt carb., clean fuel tank, two new wheel cylinders (one front, one back), repacked front wheel bearings, new fuel and vacuum lines, dry cell battery, new tail pipes/ muffler and clamps, Cleaned
Fiberglass and floor pans are in great shape, there is some surface rust in spots on wheels and bumper ends.
Car has top with window side curtains
Car needs--front seat repair, tops are torn. Top does have a few holes, and a few missing snaps Adjust brakes / bleed brakes, I have done once and have drove, Needs to be done again. Passenger side turn signal needs some work ( rear works, front is. dim, maybe ground needs to be tightened) Horn does not work, don't know why Needs to be drove and enjoyed
