Description

Up for sale is a solid 1978 VW Bus Riviera Camper. The Bus is in Portland, Oregon currently and was previously in Eugene, OR and Twin Falls, ID. This Bus has mostly original Riviera interior (it is missing some components but is mostly there. The interior is in great shape but some mods have occurred - laminate flooring installed, previous owner painted cabinets white (cool easily be removed, top foam bed is not here, and a killer water tank with water storage underneath has been installed. The downstairs bed is original along with fabric - but some re-upholstery for rear part of the bed might be desired. There is a small cut in the metal near engine compartment - looks like someone was planning something - 3inch square that could be easily welded back to normal - nothing major. The speedometer needs a little part that measures the speed - thus speedometer currently not working. Right headlight hood broke - need a new one. Everything that is listing is all cosmetic things that will not disrupt the working of the vehicle and this bus can cruise and camp and live out there on the road and in the woods as is very happily. The window and door seals are all in great shape - no leaks, no rust issues near windows - this bus has been well kept and driven mindfully. The engine is a 2.0 liter fuel injected type 4 engine - it has no issues and fires up as soon as the key turns - it seems to me that this engine was babied and driven sparingly. The transmission and clutch are in perfect working order - shifts and drives like a dream - really really Tires are very new and I would say have 85-90% life on them Brakes work great No air leaks I do have a new matching spare tire and the mechanism to attach it to the front of the bus - This bus cruises and is mechanically sound It is ready for the road - I am only selling because I drive a 77 bus and this one just looks pretty in the driveway - and I need to pay some house stuff off. Come and get it - all offers considered - if reasonable -
