TITLED AS 1971 ASVE DUNE BUGGY I am selling this for a friend so any questions I receive will be answered with his phone number so you can talk to him. What I know...1958 VW engine/trans/frame/running gear. 1971 ASVE body. Runs and drives very good. Engine and trans rebuilt. New clutch/press plate. New carb. Fresh full tune up. New rear tires, fronts very good. Recent alignment. New brakes front and rear with turned drums and new master cyl. All new wiring. 6 volt elect system. New generator and starter. A couple cracks in rear seat and some cracks/chips in paint but body is very solid/no cracks in fiberglass. Just in gel coat. Minor rust on chrome wheels. Fun car to drive and an attention getter. Local inspections by certified mechanic are welcome at buyers expense. No warranties expressed or implied.
