1993 Volkswagen Passat Wagon GLX VR6
This car was previously owned by an older woman, rarely driven and was stored inside, a few years ago the car would not start so the family pushed the car outside and eventually sold it.I purchased the car and have since decided to move on with other projects. This car is in very good condition for its age, the mileage is extremely low and the body of the car is near perfect.This Wagen is equipped with the 172HP VR6 engine and automatic transmission. The engine does not smoke or knock and does not have any leaks that prevent it from being driven.

Since I purchased the car I have had the following work performed on the car:
New Fuel Pump
Four New Tires ( the old ones were dry rotted )
Oil Service
The Fuel Tank Was Completely Cleaned

The car has been cleaned but honestly could use a more thorough cleaning. This car would be a really good car for an enthusiast or collector for that matter, I have most of the documentation that came with the car including the window sticker (see photos)

I have found a few issues with the car, I have only driven it 28 Miles since I purchased it but it has performed very well for its age. Here are the problems:
- The gas gauge does not seem to work even though there is a new in tank pump and module assembly.- Both side view mirrors are missing the glass, one of which is in the glove box of the car.- Air condition does not work- Has an ABS Light on for right front wheel speed sensor.
Amazingly this car is pretty much rust free, I have had this car up on a lift and looked underneath the floor pans are solid and no rust in the rockers or wheel well. I found one spoton the rear hatch just below the window and a picture is posted on this auction of that spot, otherwise the paint is an 8 out of 10.
The leather interior is in good condition and not ripped or torn. It still has the original Passat floor mats.This car has the factory BBS wheels
Please ask ANY questions before you bid, as I said ive only driven it 28 miles and even though it did fine I would suggest trailering it home if you live a great distance away from 29706.
Im asking for a $500 deposit within 24 hours of the auction end.
The remaining amount should be paid within 7 days, the pickup of the car can be negotiated further it is not in my way. I can assist a transporter with loading. Thanks!
