It is the best commuter car you could ever buy. Why? Because it will get 50 MPG highway and 40 MPG city. It is one of the most efficient cars that have ever been made and many people don't know about them. I have put a lot of time and money into this car so I'm just going to list all of the things that have been done. This is a turnkey car. It fires up every day and runs strong with no issues. There is 230. 00 miles on the body. The motor was rebuilt about 10. 00 miles ago with new bearings. rings. seals. head gasket and bolts. New parts include: • New Gas tank • New Rack and pinion • New Sachs Clutch kit • Clutch cable • New Rear main seal • GTI floor mats and steering wheel • Rebuilt motor with 10. 00 miles on it • New axle • New thermostat • New radiator • New front calipers and pads • New brake lines • New Bosch fast glow glow plugs• Freeze plug block heater • Rear shocks • Exhaust VW alloy rims • Front Grille • Hella driving lights • HID projector headlights and bulbs New Alternator New timing belt and V-belt New Battery New Alpine head unitThe car does need some small things to make it a perfect car but do not affect the cars every day driveablity. They include: • Front turn signals (New are in the mail)• The windshield is cracked (it does not need to be replaced because these cars are not inspected in NJ) • The driverside floor board and rocker are rotted out but the rust repair panels to fix it come with the car • The driver seat is ripped from wear and tear. • Needs 3 door handles This is a straight clean car. I even have the original window sticker from the dealer to go with the car. The only reason I'm selling this is to buy another. There is nothing wrong with the car. For it being 30 years old it is in great condition. The roof rack is not on the car and is not included with the car
