Description

Volkswagen Bus Adventurewagen in very good condition. The Adventurewagen top gives you 6' 2 standing headroom and so much storage. It has a storage area over the driver and passenger compartment and a shelf over the back engine and passenger seat. This shelf slides so also can be used for small kids to sleep or giant storage space. It has opening side vents with screens and a skylight. It has window tint and curtains. rear window tint is bubbling. The rear seats folds down into a full size bed. its 6 inches wider than a Westy bed. It still retains the sink and a 7 gallon pressurized sink and a 5 gallon holding tank. It still retains its propex heater. but the propane tank has been removed as well as the stove/fridge combo. I prefer to have more space. more flexibility with a camp stove and a good cooler. It has a table with a leaf for dining in. It has 2 fluorescent lights built into the adventurwagen top. with LED lights. and passenger reading light. It has recently be Custom painted in Mopar Orange with Fiat Grey Accents and has no rust. The interior is brown and the door panels are in good shape. the rear slider door has a slight tear in the panel. It has newer Grey Vanagon seats with arm rests and the passenger seat rotates. It has had so much work done since I purchased it from a Texas. To improve the ride I have added 15 inch Mercedes wheels and BFG AT tires. Go WESTY high performance shocks and springs and a 1. 5 inch lift. It travels down the freeway straight and stops without pulling. I added fender flairs because they look great and replaced the flimsy bumpers with Go Westy bumpers and a 2 inch hitch. I have added a auxilary oil cooler and a oil temp gauge. I have also replaced the clutch and the slave cylinder. All the interior the lights work as well as wipers. the washers do not work. I have also added sound deadening to the engine bay and floors and doors. I have upgraded to XM Sirius radio and 4 new speakers. It always starts right up cruises down the freeway. The engine bay is clean and the 2. 0 fuel injected gas engine pushes the van along nicely. I get tons of thumbs ups & horn honks in my travels. It super at the beach as you can store surfboards inside with you camping gear with locking door security. It has 2 shelves of storage in the trunk above the engine securely and space for canned goods or other equipment.
