Up for bidding is a 1968 Karmann Ghia project in which a body off restoration has begun. It has been stripped down and body can be easily pulled from the body. It was originally Regatta blue and one of the pictures shows the writing that was written at the factory. Unfortunately i do not have the time for it so my loss is your gain as i paid much more for the car than i expect to get out of it. It has a clear California title on non-op. Engine that is in the car is seized but the transmission was working great when it ran. The pan has rusted through in some areas and you can replace parts or as a whole. The body will need work but is a great candidate for restoration as the only area that I've seen rusted through is the battery area. all glass. ights. bumpers. and seats are included along with gauges and some of the trim although not all of the trim is reusable. I have all of the wiring but you may want to replace it. Front seats have a few tears but are in decent shape. rear seat is in nice shape they are all black. Nose seems to have been hit at some point but it was not major and straightened out. I will also include a 1300cc engine that is not seized and was running 2 years ago before being taken out of a 1960 Ghia. Two of the pictures are what it looked like before starting teardown.
