Description

1991 VW Passat The body of this car is in great shape. The exterior paint shines and looks good. The tires have about 9000 miles on them so are in like new condition. The inside seats are in great shape – the look new. Only bad thing in the inside is the headliner fell and was taken out so the inside roof looks ugly. The radio does not work in the vehicle. All other power equipment worked when I last drove it. I purchased this car a little over a year and a half ago (paid $2500) and it has been a daily driver until a couple of months ago when it stalled on me. I have not been able to get it started since. I am not a mechanic and don’t really know what is wrong with it. The fuel pump and fuel filter were replaced early last year so don’t think it is that - but it might be. It may be something really simple - I just don’t have the time or money to do anything to it and since it was an extra vehicle. I need to just get rid of it. There are only 75. 85 miles on it so it probably has a lot of life left in it. It is really a nice looking car – it just needs someone who is more mechanically knowledgeable to get it going again. The vehicle is also listed for sale locally so I reserve the right to end it early if it sells locally. Note that I require a deposit within 24 hours of the close of this auction. If you don't plan on purchasing the car. do not make an offer on it. I have had 3 people make an offer and then never paid the deposit and couldn't contact them. If you make an acceptable offer and do not follow through by paying the deposit. you will be reported to eBay and may have a block put on your account to keep you from buying or selling on eBay. So please. only make an offer if you plan to buy for that amount if it is accepted!
