If possible finding a finished car like this will save you about .50 cents on every dollar you spend not to mention the time involved !

The body of this car is very straight with a beautiful tri-coat Pearl White paint finish and metallic Blue stripe that was cleared so not to feel any edges and then color-sanded flat like glass ! The matching 2-tone white and blue interior is new from the carpet to the headliner ! The door panels dash pad dash face gauges are all in very nice condition as well .

Powertrain; The engine and many other componants were professionally built by world-renowned V.W. specialist Dan Lawson owner of Competion in Phoenix Az.. If you have any questions on the build he may be able to help aside from what we will list here .

The engine has been built with all new internal componants . The engine is now a 1776 ccit has a counterweighted crankshaft Mahle pistonshigh quality connecting rodsoil pump is now the new style with a spin-on and has passages openened up for more oil volumn . The oil cooler is of the later dog-house design. The cam-shaft is a bit more than stock grind for some added power . The fly-wheel has also been lightened by several pounds .The heads were "blank" un-cut units that have been machined with hemispherical combustion chambers (instead of the typical elliptical stock design ) for better air flow . Also the ports have been enlarged for more air flow .

The clutch disc is fairly heavy duty with a solid center and takes a bit of getting used to and works great ! Trans was not gone through but looked great inside and is very clean with nice gear oil . The windsheild washer has been converted to an electric pump instead of the tire pressure factory style . The push button to opperate this is located under the edge of the dash to the right of the steering column (Red button) .

NOTE:: The engine has an added oil sump which adds two more quarts of oil capacity for a total of 5 quarts However you will only be able to run 4 quarts in the engine to allow for temperature expansion of the oil . If you put 5 quarts in the engine oil will flow out past the pulley and cover . ONLY fill to the ADD "MARK" and run it at that level !!!!!!
