Description

up for sale is my 1968 manx dune buggy.

Here is your chance to own a manx without spending 20k.... :)

This is a true manx buggy.I hate to see it go they are very hard to find and top of the line. I got it from an older vw fanatic who said it had a 1776ccengine and it does have the duel carbs and runs very well. it does leak a little oil like they all do. the trans shifts preety good but jumps when taking off. probably in the bow tube needs adjusting. I will try to get around to that but no promises. second gear grinds sometimes when shifting from first. the body is in preety good shape there are no major cracks but it does have its chips and scratches mostly on the inside. starts up evry time I haven't had an issue with it ever not starting. the floor pans are solid. this is a driver not a trailer Queen. it is nice enough to take to your local shows and gets tons of attention wherever you take it. all the signals and lights work as they should. breaks are good. its a solid driver will run 60 mph smooth on the highway. it doesn't weave or run all over the road. the interior is preety good has a back seat.the front seats are fiberglass and on vw runners the pass side is a little loose also. The last picture is in the spare tire spot under the rear seat. it shows the original green color.

I have tried my best to describe this as accurate as possible. I am human and this is not a new car. please see pictures they are part of my description. you are welcome to come see it in person this is the best way to get a feel for its condition.
