Lots of pictures available! See here:https://www.flickr.com/photos/92916647@N05/sets/72157654458586850

I purchased this bus a little while back after a lot of searching. I wanted a white bay window camper and was set on finding a pre 1971 so I could get the upright motor. I wanted this as they are simple to work on can be taken out with ease easy to find everyone is familiar with them etc. VW only put this motor in the bay window bus for 4 years so finding onecan betough. Finally found one and unfortunately I can no longer keep it.

As you can see in the pictures it is a sharp looking bus. Very good on the eyes has the classic nostalgic look and is very clean all around. The interior is 100% original and for the most part in great shape. The linoleum floor has no rips or tears the vinyl seats in the back and cushions have no tears or holes either which is amazing for a bus that is 45 years old. All of the cabinetry is in excellent shape no peeling or cracking. The bed folds up and down perfectly. The sink is in great shape. The fridge / ice box is also in great shape. The top itself is in great shape but will need new canvas installed. This can be done in a couple hoursfor $250.The dash is in outstanding shape with the original radio! Windshield has brand new seal around it so no leaking to worry about. Front seats are in great structural shape but could benefit with a new slip on seat cover. Folding tables in the back are also in great shape with no cracking etc.

The body overall is in great shape as well with a fairly recent and well done semi-amateur restoration. Is it a trailer queen show car? Not at this point I always preferred drivers. Is it a great looking car with everyday driver written into its future? Absolutely. The big thing here is the underbody. This vehicle came from the dealer with the factory undercoating on everything. It remains in what I would consider perfect condition as you can see in the pictures. The floors frame rails etc are all in incredible shape and still have the protective coating intact. No rust or rot whatsoever.

Mechanically she is in a great position as well. It idles well with no smoking or sputtering. The transmission is great no grinding or popping out of gears. Brakes work well e brake works. The wiring is all there but not everything is hooked up at this point only a couple of the lights work. Not sure if it is bulbs or the wiring needs to be connected haven't looked into. But the wiring is there so it will be an easy fix. This thing could be messed around with over a Saturday afternoon and be road trip ready. Like I said it runs drives and stops. Those are the three necessities! My plan was to go through it tune it up and drive it out to Colorado to see a buddy later on this summer but plans changed!

If you have never owned a bus let me say these things are great. You pull this thing into a campground and it will get more positive reactions than a $225000 RV. Everyone has a story everyone is happy so see it and for better or worse everyone will ask for a ride.

Please remember this vehicle is close to 45 years old and no it will not drive like a 2015 Ferrari Yes it is in fantastic shape for it's age. I have described everything to the best of my ability. If you have any additional questions please reach out prior to bidding. This is sold as is $500 deposit via PayPal due within 24 hours and non-refundable full payment due within 72 hours (3 days). Payment must be made via wire transfer cash in person or PayPal (not preferred as they charge an arm and a leg)... wire preferred. Shipping cost is buyer's responsibility. Willing to work with shipping company to help coordinate pickup. Willing to work with overseas buyers same terms apply. Have all paperwork so there should be no issues with customs etc. I can ship all paperwork to the winning bidder separately to ensure safe delivery (I will not risk this being lost during shipping). Bus is for sale locally as well and therefore I reserve right to end the auction early unless of course you use Buy It Now which is priced extremely reasonable.
