This is a 1969 VW Bus that is ready to be put back together and driven. Same owner since 1997 it has been garage kept since then. The entire body bumpers and rims were media blasted epoxy primed and painted 69 GM Hugger Orange and White single stage paint. There are some scratches on the right side quarter panel and a quarter size chip in the paint on the upper rear hatch cover. The bodywork and paint was completed around 1999. It's better than driver quality but not quite show quality. The body has waves that are typical on an old bus like this. The front floors were patched by a previous owner. The current owner installed new rockers lower front quarter patch panels upper cowl and welded in a new battery tray. There is no sign of any rust anywhere on the body. Underneath looks pretty solid too. The glass is all original and in very good condition with no yellowing. All new window seals are included. The engine is out of a custom Beetle and had 1500 miles on it when it was removed. I'm not sure of the exact displacement but it's larger than 1600. The tires were bought new around 1997 and have 0 miles on them. They may have flat spots on them from sitting so long but we didn't notice any when we pulled the bus out of the garage for these pictures. There are plenty of new parts included like hubcaps shocksmirrors door handles andrare white VW logo mud flaps. There is almost a complete new interior that goes along with this bus too. You get custom white and orange door and side panels new charcoal colored carpet kit and a solid white heavy vinyl headliner. All of these need to be installed. There are no new seat covers just the old originals. The brakes do need to be rebuilt. The last two picture show the paint damage.Owner lost interest and so it's up for sale. Clean Pennsylvania title. Buyer responsible for pickup/shipping. Interested buyers are invited to come take a look at the bus. $500 non refundable deposit is due 24 hours after the end of the auction. The balance is due in cash or bank wire transfer prior to release of the bus and it's title.
