Description

For sale is a 1969 VW Bug. It is in great condition and has been owned by our VW family for 15 years. We bought it from Mike's VW of Anaheim (our lifelong VW mechanic) after a lady decided to sell it when she became pregnant and decided to move on and now that we have a small child we have decided to move on and leave our beloved VW behind. We have meticulously maintained this car at Mike's and have all paper work. We had an engine rebuild in 2004 and a new transmission installed around that time Mileage at the time was 22958 and is now 62078). New steering box in 2004. Right and Left Wheel bearings replaced in 2009. The generator was replaced with a Bosch alternator in 2003. We have addressed all maintenance issues with German parts (when available) and have receipts. Tires are in great shape. She did receive a new paint job in 2005 but there are some signs of scratches and a few very small rust bubbles. The engine is a stock 1600 cc with no mods (besides alternator). She regularly gets 29 mpg. There is a small dent/paint chip on the engine hood (rear). Clean registration and it doesn't need to get smogged since it is older than 1973! Awesome! Come by and take her for a test drive. Comes with w new cover and a copy of "An Idiot's Guide to Keeping Your VW Alive Forever". We are asking 6000$ or best offer. Bring cash and drive away a dream!
