1957 Vw Single cab
Selling my off my collection.This is the last Vw I own, m moving on to other things soooooooo!Im letting go of my 1957 single cab, us was equipped with factory safaris that have been updated with new safaris.bus has had many new parts installed, ith a new braking system. E-brake does not work.Bus is in excellent antique shape with normal un- restored condition.I have driven the bus a number of times and it does run and drive well.however right now the spring for the throw out bearing does need replaced and shifting is difficult, his is a very simple and inexpensive repair and can be done by even the most inexpierienced mechanic.Truck has new upholstery and all new door panels,kick panels and roof panels( the roof panels need replaced)Truck is in my opinion very straight for its age and will need nothing to make it road worthy other than the spring.I have yet to install a proper ignition...(30 bucks) I just use a screwdriver to start it with an ignition I installed as a temporary.All blinkers and brake lights.Basically for a weekends worth of work you have a real piece of art that can be used as a vehicle.
