Up for auction today is a 1973 Volkswagen Super Beetle, lso known as the 1303. This Beetle is fully functioning; everything works, ncluding the heater, ear window defroster, ome light, tc. This Beetle starts right up and runs exceptionally well. I wouldn't hesitate to drive it anywhere. I am the third owner of the Bug - the second owner was a VW mechanic and I restore air cooled VWs as a hobby. It has been extremely well cared for, ncluding new points and brakes at the last oil change. The heater channels and floor pan are SOLID.
The exterior has some rust around the rear wheels on both sides, little rust on the passenger side rocker panel and assorted dings and scratches around the car in keep with a vehicle that is 42 years old.
The engine starts right up and runs beautifully. The previous owner took fanatical care of the car and I have as well. The car currently has 58,602 original miles on it. As I mentioned earlier, wouldn't hesitate to drive it anywhere.
The interior of this car is in exceptionally good condition. The seats look like new, he dash is shiny and has no cracks, he steering wheel has no cracks and is in great condition, ll the switches, nobs and buttons are there and the glass is in good condition.

This auction is a no reserve auction. A deposit of $500 is due within 24 hours of the close of the auction with the balance due within 7 days or when the buyer comes to pick up the car, hichever comes first. I will accept only certified bank checks or cash for the balance.
The buyer is responsible for picking up the car or arranging for delivery. I will make every effort to assist in delivery if that is desired.
