1967 Volvo P1800 Coupe
This car had been stored over 25 years when the owner passed away. The title is in the estate's name and the mileage is guaranteed on the title. It retains its original California black plates and has no corrosion problems.
The paint appears to be a good quality but done a long time ago. Very few dings or marks. The doors, runk and hood fit as they did when new. We could not find where it might have had any serious damage. The rubber throughout is serviceable with few poor pieces. The windshield has a crack. It would be nice to put the chrome moulding around the rubber when putting in new glass. The rest of the glass is in good shape. The chrome and bumpers are nice.
The interior has survived well. The carpets, oor panels, eadliner and rear seat appear to be original. I've never owned a Volvo but I believe the front seats have been recovered. The dash pad is not cracked and the dash is in reasonable condition.
The motor runs like a watch and it's quiet. The transmission shifts nicely and the overdrive works. The suspension and front end drives tight. Drives well at 60 MPH. I know this wipers don't work and never tried the heater. The instruments work fine, nd the headlights and turn signals work.
This is a very solid well running P1800 with 66,411 miles. This is a good survivor. Sold at NO RESERVE.
