For sale is a mostly original un-restored 1964 Volvo P1800S that was originally from Oregon. I was told that the car has approximately 130k on it. This Volvo has been repainted. but is mostly original otherwise. It has a small bit of quarter sized rust in front of the drivers door on the lower panel. but other than that is a pretty rust-free car. It runs well. with no leaks or significant issues to speak of. This car could easily be driven daily or could be driven for a few years before beginning a full restoration. The engine runs well. starts easy even on really cold days. The clutch engages well. and the overdrive actually works well too. Even the emergency brake works well. Tires are in excellent shape. and all the latches. window and door knobs work well. Radio is aftermarket. but does work (original radio is sold with the car). Electrical in general is good. headlights. nbsp;taillights and turn signals all operate correctly. I have added as many pictures as I thought was necessary to portray the condition of the car. The car runs and drives VERY WELL. but is not a show winner. From 20 feet away. it looks great. Up close you will see a bad respray paint job and some imperfections. Again. not much rust at all to speak of. so restoring the body work would not be a huge ordeal post-sandblasting. Being that it is not restored. it has things that are old and not perfect on the interior too. The best example is the drivers interior door panels; they are on snugly. but have been roughly reupholstered and need to be replaced. The carpet is not too bad. but does have some fading from the sun. The seats are pretty good. with one small cut in the drivers seat bottom. Rear seat is in good condition. Headliner is good. but sun visors need to be replaced. reupholstered. Items that I know which do NOT work:Speedometer and OdometerWindshield Washer - Bucket is there. not hooked up. ClockGas Gauge - Intermittently it works. there is voltage to the sending unit. so I assume the sending unit is the culprit here. Fan Blower - Controls are anaolg. so if you can get the fan to run. those will be fine. Interior Lights - It may just need bulbs. I have given this car a fair reserve given that it runs and drives great and is not hiding anything (i. e. its not lipstick on a pig!). It has cosmetic issues. but nothing too serious. If it does not sell. I'll simply drive and enjoy as is until a time that I decide to restore once my other projects are complete. These Volvos are only going up in price. so you won't go wrong with this mostly original example. A Non-Refundable Paypal deposit is due within 24 hours of close of auction.
