It looks like you might be interested in buying my car!!
I bought it several years ago, ntending to fully restore it. I've managed to do about 80% of the work, ut it needs a little bit extra to make it show-room quality.
If you have ever been excited (like I was) about the prospect of restoring a vintage car, his is an excellent opportunity to do with a rare car that you almost never see on the highway anymore! Only around 8,000 were ever manufactured!!
Here are the basic details:
- 1972 Volvo 1800ES
- 160K miles
- All glass is original with the original Volvo window tags
- Engine completely rebuilt in 2013 by a Volvo mechanic in Santa Monica, A
- Gas tank, uel pump, uspension all replaced/repaired in 2012-2014
- Upholstery redone in 2006; excellent condition
Best of all -- this car has been kept in California its entire life so there is zero weather damage. I am also only the second owner of this vehicle so it has very little wear and tear.
As I mentioned above, he car is not completely restored yet. It still needs a new speedometer and clock. There are also two small rust spots that will need some attention (so small, n fact, hat you can't even see them in the pictures!)
Completely restored 1972 Volvo 1800ES sell for for $25,000-$40,000 on Hemmings.com so this vehicle is also a great investment opportunity for the right buyer.
If you are interested in learning more about this great car, lease let me know! I am pricing this car to sell to buy a house to get a great deal today!
