Description

AS IS Volvo 240. I'm the second owner of this Brick purchased in 2009. I have moved out of state and the car has been sitting for about two years. I fired it up and drove it 3/7/15. There's good and bad of course. Has a clean title in hand.
The Good: New Tires, ew Battery, olid body with only a few spot with slight damage. I'll try to take better pictures if the sun ever comes out. The interior is in pretty good shape. Most but not all of the power windows function. Has a sony CD deck installed. Has the full spare in the trunk. 5 years ago, eplaced lower oil pan gasket and timing belt at that time.
The Bad: It needs a little check up for having been sitting for fluids, park plugs, istributer cap, tc. The radiator fluid is good. The Odometer is currently stuck and has already been repaired once before. It's due to a change over from mechanical to electrical operation I'm told that caused problems so a good volvo mechanic should be able to fix it. The A/C needs a shot of R134 freon. The rear drum brake needs attention. The windshield wiper motor is on it's last leg. The clear coat has a couple of big spots worn away so that will need to be addressed at some point.
Would be willing to deliver within 100 miles or can arrange for BUYER to pay for shipment.
All in all the car itself is in fine shape and needs some tune up love. I'd rather see it go to someone who would use it rather than tossing it away for scrap. I hope your that kind of folk.
