1966 Volvo 122 S sedan, 4 speed manual transmission, front disk brakes. Runs and drives great, it is driven in the summer on regular basis around town and maintains freeway speed with gusto, it has new tires, a complete new clutch and clutch slave cylinder, valve lash was adjusted, fresh fluids. The body is very good with a poor paint job in the original color and decent chrome, the interior has been redone in a different color than the original but shows well, all the structural parts of the body known to rust in the 120 series like inner fenders, cross members and rockers are in good condition. All the lights, wipers, and heater fan are working and so is the radio. The parking brake is connected but will need an adjustment to properly function. It has the correct aircraft style 3 point seat belts on the front seats. The car has some issues as any old car would but it is running, driving and stopping. An inexpensive way to get into a 60’s Volvo. Improve as you drive or it would be a good base for restoration.
Here are a few questions I could anticipate and could answer:
Will it make a cross country trip? Being a 50 years old car and not being restored, I would advise to have it shipped or pick up but it is up to the buyer to make a final decision.
Does it have AC? AC was a relatively rare option, no AC on this one.
Why are you selling it? I have other cars like any car enthusiast and I am restoring other vehicles so this one will become redundant soon.
