If your Volvo P1800 body is rotte, here's a costless solution,this body has been sandblasted on BBQ all aroun, all metal wor, no bond, with differential sandblasted and repaint with all new rear brakes and drum, front end have been all dismantled and rebuild with all new bushing, ball joints etc new discs brakes
Addendum:The real fact: I had the same ca, same color 40 years ag, ,15 years ago I decided to back track my ca, I found the equivalen, then I bought , and decided to restore i, I bought everything after the body wor, all chrome trim, badge, logo, ,all rubbers for door, truck et, all light housing and lense, brand new egg crate grill (nos)even a new wiring harness in the same way (cotton knit) all carpet, all new black intéerior up to the kick panel, redone front seats in guenuine black leathe, new calipers,all components in motor bay compartment (winshiel washer tan, master cylinde, and even the motor is detaile, repainted in original red color .new pistons,rings et, missing couple of hoses et, all glasses in doubl, front,rear,sides) I spent more than 25,000 $ cdn so if you are interested in all its 10,000 $
