This is a 1968 Volvo 122S I got recently in a package deal.It ws owned by a buddy of mine who used it for years with his partner rallying around the World. It has Fiva Identity card from 2004. Which would have to be renewed.. They just finished a 9,000 mile rally this summer thruout North America from Nova Scotia to .San Francisco . The car ran flawlessly. Over the years they spent over 40k on it. With a fairly recent engine and transmission rebuild in England by a Volvo race Shop which costs 10 k alone. While built for ralley, his is a great everyday driver. Just drove it down from Oregon to here in Arizona without a hiccup. It is a real pleasure to driv, uilt like a Swedish brick outhouse and is built to last. Arizona rustfree car from the start . Updated, mproved and well maintained thru the years. Skid plates, xtra heavy duty suspension, ini Lite rims, ecaro seats, xtra 10 gallon fuel cell, lectronic ignition, eber 40 sidedraft carbs, ally clock, riving lights, ront and back, xtra spare tire with trunk deck mount overdrive transmision,extra parts in the trunk,including new master cylinder,extra shocks, tc. Nice paint, ood glass, ewer carpet, ice dash, ood headliner.The rubber gaskets thruout are still soft and nice. Like the door window sweeps. Which on most old Volvos are cracked and toast. These are soft and nice. I would keep this car for a daily driver in a second. But after having recent shoulder surgery on one and another coming up, can not whip the non power steering around like I should. A bigger steering wheel would help. This is a great car. Always maintained first class. Rallyed around the World, am getting the maintenance history file soon and will add any new info it has. Personal insection is more than welcome at my shop here in Prescott.Or send someone else to check it out and drive it. Buy it and drive it home anywhere without a worry. I get over to the Long Beach shippers every week or so . So overseas buyersare more than welcome and I will even include delivery to Long Beach shippers for you. Great cars at reasonable money like this do not come across so much any more ..This will be a good one for someone.

Wel, am not doing very well getting details on the build. The previous owner is slowing down in life and not getting the file to me very quickly. I did find out the engine, ranny overdrive, uspension work was all done by Tony Barrett of England. A very qualified long time Volvo rally guy. He built this car with everything big and built. Big Cam engine, ig jet carbs, tc Over the years over 40, was put into this car. Interior all redone, nbsp;paint, . Tony Barrett built this drivetrain 10k miles ago. I am no Volvo Rally car expert but know this is a well built solid Arizona rustfree car that has been very well maintained thru the years and has decades and decades of life left. Both on the road or out on the course. Drive it as is till the cows come home. Or build on it the way you want it. You will never find a better starting point for the money. .
