1950 Willys Jeepster, egistered, nsured and fully drivable. No leaks, little oil gets past the guides but motor runs pretty well. Some tappet noise can be heard after warming up.Trans and overdrive work fine, rakes are great. Overdrive is engaged by switching a toggle switch on the dash (the relay does not work). This system does work great. Shifter has some slop to it and takes a little getting used to. Probably should have some replacement parts installed. It always has worked fine for me. Has quiet exhaust system and steers/handles well. Gauges, ights, urn signals work fine. Speedometer is starting to act u, pins wildly. Tires are fair, ne bald.
From a distance body and paint look great, owever, p closeyou can seesome amateur body work and paint as well as sanding scratches and ripples. In all, ine for a "driver" but definitely not concourse! Body is solid, o rot. Frame and underside are very solid with no rot out. Front seats are pretty nice. Back seat is missing but the rear, ack seat frame is there. Top, hile serviceable, hows wear, as a small hole, s starting to gap at the rear. Window is fine.
