This is an original 1940 Willys sedan. It is a really complete and very solid car. There is very little rust out - a little in front floors, very rear of trunk floor, a small spot below wipers, inside lower of decklid and a small spot on the grille section on passenger side. The front fenders and grille center fit great with the hood. The original grilles are great with a little bit of pitting but no cracks that I can see. This is a deluxe model and therefore has all the extra trim and emblems as well as deluxe front bumper. The car has all the hard to find parts like steering wheel with near perfect horn button, sun visors, deluxe trim, near perfect outside door handles and trim, dash knobs and the list goes on. The only parts I see missing are the gas cap, passenger side running board trim and the stainless trim ring on the left tail light. The car is really deserving of a restoration or get her running and driving and leave the 76 years of patina. When was the last time you saw a complete 1940 Willys sedan for sale in this great of condition. I reserve the right to end the auction early as I have the car listed eleswhere. I know what the car is worth if parted out but I'd rather see it fixed up. If interested, call me at 716-622-3594. I can help the trucking company load but the buyer is responsible for arranging pick up / delivery or you can pick up yourself. Thanks, Ron.
