Up for sale is a restored 1952 Willys pickup. Model number 452ED1. This truck is #73 out of 358 units built in 52.I bought the truck from original owners estate. Truck had been stored since 1978. 112 miles on complete frame off restoration. Tried to keep the truck as original as possible, ent through the entire truck and changed seals, ushings, uspension, hocks, heel cylinders, aster cylinder, rake lines, verything that was worn. Had all gauges cleaned, e-chromed, nd rebuilt. New custom stainless steel exhaust. new wiring harness, ew gas tank, ew fuel pump, ew carbuerator. New aluminum radiator and flex fan. ( had overheating and vapor locking issues, his solved the problem). All new glass and rubber seals. Brand new bed with 50's style bed stakes, wners son said his dad purchased truck new without bed.
Left the original paint, omplete with dents and scratches, nd clear coated the truck, iving it a beautiful natural looking patina. All new interior with a retro fit stereo. I have the original am radio.
Truck is what it is, rough riding, low going old pickup, op speed of 35 mph. But it is fun to drive and it turns lots of heads.
