Description

I bought this car in '06 from RI and drove it back with no problems in 2 days and 8 hrs. It had 46,000 miles on it I have added to bring it to about 80,000. A certified mechanic rebuilt the engine but a short time later it locked up. The machine shop said the crank didn't need to be turned. At this point in time I believe I should have taken it down 10 thousands because it had spun a bearing causing the rebuild. The engine has all new parts; the head was done at the mach. shop and works fine, ranny is good with no problem with sync in second gear, as a new clutch plate. Like most Alfa's it has some electrical s; points for headlights in column needs cleaning, peedo don't work, an light comes on but don't blow. There is a rusted spare wheel compartment but holds the spare, ome rust underneath but doesn't affect the driving, t runs straight and true down the highway. There are 5 of the same wheels, irelli's have good tread but are 6+ years old. Radiator has been redone. It has a recently rebuilt starter. All glass is good with fog in lower right corner. Upholstery is fair with no rips. Recent paint with a couple of chips and nose got damaged (see photos). Top does not leak but inner liner is gone and has a boot that snaps on the body. The KN filter does not go with the car. I am 80 years old and I can still GET DOWN.....the problem is getting back up. The car is not one size fits all....it is going to take an Alfa guy to put it back on the road and it did love the road. I am sure that I have not covered everything so please please please write me and keep me honest. I don't like surprises and you wouldn't want any either. Ask before you bid. Good Luck
