I had purchase this car a month ago through ebay, but due to strict California emission control it did not pass smog test,so sadly i can not register it inCaliforniaand i am forced to sell it,PLEASE READ CAREFULLY it is a non restored 40 years old Alfa, "DO NOT expect a brand new car it has all issues a normal alfa should have ( please google Alfa spiders )so please ask questions before bidding since this is a no reserve auctions and all the sales are final.This is 1979 Alfa Romeo Spider, it rides and drives good ( like an Alfa),if kept clean and originalit willonly appreciate in value as an investment and 79 is a desirable year of this model. The car had been sitting for a long time, since the purchase i have put over 300 miles on it and it did not overheat or gave me any other issues,It runs strong and the clutch is good, gaugesboth speed and overall odometerare functional and the tires are good as well.Small crack about 2 or 3 inches on thebottom right corner of the windshield which started and ended on the same corner and I was advised to just leave it like that (not extendable).There is a cut approximately 1/2 inch on the top (placed a sharp load on it in a parking lot) which has already beentreated so thereis no leaking,As far asthe appearance, car could be used the way it is or give it a reputable, real classic value, it needs paint.Radio face plate is missing, About the other things please check the pictures and please let me knowany and allquestions you may have.Thank you in advance.
