Description

Offered for sale is an absolutely gorgeous, echanically excellent, olid and correct, umbers matching 1964 Austin Healey 3000 MK III BJ8 finished in ever-desirable dark British Racing Green over a black interior. Believed to have accrued a mere 58k miles over its 51 years of service, he car was the recipient of a comprehensive frame up restoration some 20 years ago and has been driven sparingly since, lways properly garaged and maintained at the highest level.

We acquired the car from marque expert Sports Car Shop in Eugene, regon where it had been faithfully serviced for its previous owner. Within the last 650 miles the car has received in excess of $10,000 worth of mechanical work including (but not limited to) a front brake job, otal rebuild or replacement of all brake and clutch hydraulics, ebuilt overdrive, prated rear crankshaft seal installation and a complete service and tune up. Service receipts are of course included in the sale and can be provided to serious buyers.

Needless to say, he car is exceptionally well mechanically and electrically sorted, orthy of either weekend pleasure drive or long distance touring. The engine starts easily, dles consistently and pulls strongly and smoothly through each of the original transmission’s gears. Compression is strong and even, verdrive functions flawlessly, he car drives brakes straight and true and ride quality is superb.

The dark British Racing Green finish is in excellent condition, arred only by the most negligible of imperfections, one of which are significant enough to appear in the pictures. The chrome, lass and rubber are all in good shape and the chassis and undercarriage are in excellent condition, ntirely straight, olid and free of harmful corrosion. The interior was reupholstered in correct materials and patterns, hows virtually no wear whatsoever and the soft top is free of imperfections with a clear rear window.
