This is a beautiful little 62 Special that was originally ordered with the 215 High Performance 10:1 compression aluminum block V8(the "Skylark Package") The engine serial numbers show that this was the original engine. It has the original "dual path" automatic transmission. The body is in beautiful shape with no dents or dings and a great paint job. The heater core and radiator have been cleaned and tested. None of the glass is busted or cracked and the interior has been redone and shows little wear if any at all. The brakes have been gone through along with new front wheel bearings. Some electrical work to get the "idiot" lights working has been completed and it has had its oil and transmission fluids changed. The old brake booster and master cylinder have been restored (the master received a steel sleve) and the wheel cylinders rebuilt. It runs but I parked the car because the engine showed the need of a valve job(uneven and some low compressions). I think the previous owner had driven it too hard on unleaded fuel. I was beginning the process of the overhaul but became very sick and am now unable to finish the restoration. It is a great NOS vehicle and would make a great periodic "Driver".
