1970 Cadillac Eldorado, 4,542 miles, riginal Paint, riginal perfect Interior, riginal amazing Chrome, riginal DriveTrain, s nice an original Eldorado as you will find. Huge 500 cubic inch engine rated at 400 horsepower, ront wheel drive of course. I am the third Owner. Tons of documentation including full owner history from Day 1, riginal window sticker, nnual registrations, etters from previous owners and tons of other various documents all included in two large binders. This is an original unrestored Cadillac closing in on its 50th birthday. If you value originality, his car is for you. If you like clear coated over-restored cars that have been disassembled and never to be factory original again, hen this is not your baby. If you are blown away by time capsules that have been cherished and pampered since day 1, hat look restored from any distance, nd drive like they were meant to drive, ou could be the next caretaker of this piece of history. If you want a gem to restore, on’t call as I prefer not to sell it to you. I am an American but we are light years behind the Europeans who understand that any piece of junk can be restored to shiny new appearance and no one will know what lies beneath the glitter. Original unrestored cars are rare. A creampuff like this is indeed rare (not an overused word in this case).
This car was in the Mecum 2012 Orlando auction and was bid to $15,500, ot making the reserve. The current asking price is an outstanding value.

The minor flaws – A/C only blows cool, adio doesn’t work, nd a small crease in the lower right rear quarter panel. Exhaust appears to be original . The original resonator (after the muffler) has some small holes at the bottom. The vinyl top has been replaced.
The paint overall looks as nice as a respray but guaranteed not to be. The original factory lacquer remains bright and vibrant. There are some minor dings and chipped paint. Please do not expect Lexus quality paint on a 45 year old car. It is extremely nice, ut not perfect. The paint on the trunk is checking if you look carefully.
Electric windows work fine, ll gauges work fine, arpet like new, are leather bucket seats are superb, ack seat looks never sat in, eadliner mint, nderbody dry and rust free, pare tire is original and has not been out of its well since new.
The car runs and drives like new. Completely gone thru and in perfect running order. I drove this car up from Florida when I bought it. It ran flawlessly, ot one issue.
This is an Alabama car most of its life. Always garaged and dealer maintained. An investment level rare survivor.
