Description

1952 Chevrolet 1 1/2 ton truck. 235 cid loadmaster 6 cylinder 105 horse power engine. Wheel base axle center line to axle center line is 15 feet. 41019 actual miles. 4 speed manual transmission, no PTO, with a 2 speed rear axle. This truck was once a Fire truck for the Fertile Iowa Fire Department. Note the passenger door I sanded just to check the old lettering. Truck has a few whiskey bumps from being used in farm service, but is pretty much rust free. The front floor still had the original rubber mat on it when I got the truck. I removed the floor mat and found the drivers side floor board is starting to pin hole. Truck runs and drives, all lights, instrument cluster gauges, horn, turn signal, 2 speed rear axle, heater/defroster work. The truck currently has front and emergency brakes working at this time. I replaced the master cylinder, honed and put new cups in the front cylinders, bled the brakes and the rear cylinders started leaking. The rear brakes are currently blocked off at the rear flex hose. The truck has these new parts installed since my ownership. Master cylinder, front wheel cylinder cups, all three brake flex hoses, fuel tank and sender, spark plugs, distributor cap, rotor, points and condenser, plug wires, carburetor kit and fuel filter, new choke and throttle cables, new glove box liner, lock with key and a reproduction owners manual. I have driven this old truck around town, but don't plan on driving it home, tires have good tread but I'm guessing the are probably 1952 vintage? Payment within 5 days of auction end by paypal, or deposit of $500.00 with paypal at auctions end and the rest in U.S. currency cash in person. No shipping. Truck must be picked up in 30 days or deposit is forfeited and truck will be relisted. Thank you. Resisted due to a buyer that had second thoughts?
