Up for sale is a MINT condition. ALL ORIGINAL UNMOLESTED Monte Carlo with a FACTORY ORIGINAL TURBO engine. This is an extremely well kept and one of a kind example of a very rare car. There were only 3027 factory turbos produced by Chevrolet for the Monte Carlo and only for the 1981 model year. This car still has the factory original paint which shows virtually no wear and tear. scratches. blemishes. rust or rot. The bright chrome trim shines like new and is all intact. The interior is outstanding. also with no wear and tear. rips. tears or missing pieces. The only minor issue is the plastic pieces covering the side pillars and framing the doors are peeling. Headliner is beautifully intact. ALL OPTIONS WORK including a cold blowing air conditioner. Every light bulb. every switch and feature works as it should. The speedo cable makes the typical GM squeak and the dash clock works but doesn't keep the correct time. The only modification to the dash is an aftermarket stereo with Bluetooth that is just about a year old. Tires are good. there are brand new freshly reconditioned and powdercoated Monte Carlo SS turbine wheels is pristine condition. Car is completely stock with the exception of the wheels and the radio. Car is completely free or rust or rot. trunk and floor boards still have original rustproofing. Doors have no sag and close like 80's GM cars do. The weatherstripping around the windows is just stating to dry out but doesn't need immediate attention. The pictures don't do the car justice and all I can say and the condition of the car will speak for itself when you see it. Mileage is ACTUAL. All glass is perfect. Still has original wipers. The issues with the car are the carburetor probably needs to be replaced and the valve covers leak oil however. the car never needs oil and I drive it at least once a week to give you an idea of the severity of the leak. My mechanic told me it's so minor it isn't worth fixing unless it really bothers me. The car always starts and drives really beautifully. it idles very high when first started. more so in the cold weather and idles rough at a light. There is also a leak in the exhaust but it doesn't bother me so I didn't fix it. The car does not make loud noises as a result however. There are no other issues related to the car than that. And these issues never interfere with the function or drivability of the car. The car has not seen rain or snow and is garaged as long as I have owned it and I am the 3rd owner. The original owner kept all service records and the original bill of sale which I also have. I love this car but I simply have too many cars and no room for them all.
