Description

This Apache spent most of it's life as a tow truck for a Standard station. If you look closely you can see the standard stickers on both doors. The boom has been removed and the bed has been replaced with aged cedar. I have done a mechanical restoration on this truck to make it road worthy.Some of the new items include:
  • A new gas tank and sending unit
  • Aluminum radiator
  • Stainless alternator
  • Stainless exhaust and muffler
  • All brake cylinders [drums have been machined]
  • Vinyl floor mat
  • Seat has been reupholstered
  • Plugs wires and cap have all been replaced
  • Rear shocks have also been replaced
It is a straight six four speed that drives well. Motor does smoke a bit but starts right up and runs very well. (Actual mileage is unknown).All lights and signals work properly. Tire tread is at 95%. The truck does have some rust. The rust that cannot be seen in the pictures includes a small amount on the floors. The worst of it is above the windshield in the cab. The step boards has some as well. There is a crack on the passenger side of the windshield and the heater core is not in the truck.This truck can be driven as is or restored.Title is clear and it is ready for a new home.
