Description

You are bidding on a very cool 1959 GMC short bed fleet side pickup. Truck is very solid for its age. Truck has been in Texas since new helping to keep rust at a minimum. Truck was repainted factory colors back in late 80's and clear started to peel in 90's. The clear was sanded off at that time. The truck has had the patina look for years. Only obvious rust I see are bottom of front fenders bubbling front edge lower corner of doorsand under the inner rocker(see pics). The interior of the truck is very nice and as close to original. All the glass is good also. The truck has a crate 350(with lumpy rv cam) with a turbo 350 transmission with power steering. Truck is lowered with a drop axle up front and springs in the rear. Truck runs and drives good and is used all the time. Motor and Trans have around 10000 miles on them. If you have been looking for a 59 Apache when was the last time you saw a GMC??? You very rarely see a GMC. Will make a killer shop truck or that local car show attention getter.
