1967 Chevrolet El Camino
Originally from Oklahoma. It was purchased from the original owner by another family member
with the same last name in 1990 and brought to southern Ohio. The car had 49,180 miles on it in
1990. It now has a bit over 51,000 original miles on it. I have a copy of the title from 1990 to show the mileage. I also have the Protect­o­plate. It has the original drive train (Engine, ransmission, ar End). I have it in a heated garage and was told that it spent most of it’s life that way. This 1967 El Camino runs and drives great.
Everything still works on this car.....horn, ipers, igh beams, ights, ash lights, as gauge, eat
etc. None of the wiring has been cut up. Dome lamp does not work.
Original 283 ci engine with the factory 2 barrel carburetor (Runs like a Swiss Watch). Also does
not smoke or burn oil. It does leak a little though. It’s backed by a smooth shifting two speed
Powerglide transmission. The 3.08 rear end is great for highway cruising. It has power drum brakes front and back. New dual exhaust from the manifolds on back with Flowmaster type mufflers. Tailpipes exit behind rear tires.
It still has all 4 original T3 head lights and original spare tire w/jack. This is an original radio
delete car with the panel still in place.
Professionally installed 4 corner air ride suspension consisting of double convoluted air springs, gallon slim air tank, /8 electric valves, iair 444c compressor, ater trap all hidden under panel in bed. 4 switches hidden under left side of the dash and a Dakota digital 4 corner air gauge is mounted below the ashtray to monitor bag pressure. Very neat and clean install that doesn’t leak and rides awesome. Just did a 300 mile road trip to a car show and the car performed flawlessly.
Rolling attire consists of brand new Billet Specialties Mag wheels and Pirelli Tires. The front
wheels are 18x7 with 4.5 backspacing and the rears are 18x8 with 4.5 backspacing. The Pirelli P
Zero Rosso tires are 225/40/18 front and 255/40/18 rear. I also have the original wheels and tires and hub caps that go with the car and are included in the sale. The tires on the factory wheels were purchased new in 2005{I have receipt} and look to have very little miles on them.
The body is in very nice shape. It has had a repaint at one time in it’s life many years ago. It is now faded and has some patina to it. There are chips and scratches and the “A” pillar has some paint peeled off. The bed is very straight and not beat up but it has some paint chips and scratches. I doubt they ever hauled much in it. The tailgate is super solid. The floor has been replaced with the correct GM pan at some point in its life. I’m fairly certain it’s because a leaky window caused water to sit in the pan. The previous owner thought the same thing. The frame and everything else is solid and that's why I would think that's what happened. The car has never been in salt. I found out recently (first time I have had it in rain) that there is still a window leak as the carpets were damp. Chrome is original but is dull in most spots and there are some dent in the bumpers. All glass is original. The windshield is a bit hazy and has some wiper marks on it. I have some new door and vent glass channels and seals, ew wind lace that are not installed but are included with the sale.
I welcome and encourage you to come and inspect the vehicle in person before bidding. Winning the auction means you are buying the vehicle. You are not bidding for a chance to check it out afterwards and decide if you want it. Make sure you have the funds ready to go. Don’t let your kids have access to your eBay account. Check with your wife. And, inally, ou don’t accidentally win an auction. There many steps there to make sure you know that you are entering an agreement to purchase a vehicle. I’ve heard all the excuses.

A $500 non­refundable deposit is due within 24 hours of auction end. The balance is due within 3 days of auction end in the form of bank wire transfer or cash in person.
Winning bidder is responsible for pick up or transport of vehicle. I cannot arrange shipping but I can meet the transporter near my house.
