It's not often that we get in a Nova station wagon. Come to think of it, t's not often we get in station wagons of any kind! However, e thought this one was special enough to add to our inventory and we think you'll agree!
Wagons of all shapes and sizes were very popular in the '50's and '60's. As our rapidly expanding freeway system allowed for easy cross country travel, ore and more families wanted to explore the U.S. together. And what better way than the "family wagon". As time went on and the S.U.V. became the family conveyance of choice, he wagon kind of drifted into the sunset as a relic of the past. However, hey never fell out of favor with the surfing and hot rod crowd! As a result, ou can occasionally still see them on the street in various stages modification. That being said, t's become a much rarer sight to see a wagon that appears to be completely stock and void of custom paint, blower sticking out of the hood and a narrowed and tubbed rear end. Not that there's anything wrong with that! But, here are exceptions to this rule. Which brings us to our featured wagon . . .
We acquired this '63 Nova from a client who just purchased a '67 Corvette from us. At first glance, t appears completely stock with its arrow straight body, addle Tan paint and beautiful interior with a rare, ear facing bench seat still in place! But a look under the hood belies appearance with a "slightly worked" 327 V8 and Turbo 350 3-spd transmission replacing the straight 6-cyl engine and 2-spd Powerglide transmission it was born with! Dealer installed V8 conversions were quite popular back in the day. And although we don't know if this engine was dropped in way back when or a number of years after, e do know that it makes for quite a nice package, ith power to cruise the highways and byways of America and room to spare for family or friends. And with options including factory a-c (not currently working), ower front disc brakes, ower steering and radial tires, ou'll want to take this Nova out every chance you get! It's also documented with the original Shipped, ealer Invoice, klahoma Title and Owner's Manual! A neat wagon indeed!
Do not wait to bid or to make an offer on this Nova Wagon, s it is also available for sale in our showroom and will move fast. For more information, ou can send us a question through eBay or call/text, s on our cell phones at: Jeff (661-510-3486661-510-3486) or Troy (714-712-0060714-712-0060).
