Chrysler New Yorker 1986 – 4 door sedan

I love this car. It talks to me!!! They don’t make them like this anymore.

I loved the seats because they are one long sofa styled and I can put my dog up front next to me. They are soft velvet and you feel like you are riding in your own private jet.

For those of you who are not familiar with this car these are the phrases he says when the car is in gear:

“Please fastened your seat belts”

“A door is ajar”

“Don’t forget your keys”

“Your headlights are on”

“Thank You” (when you fastened your seat belt, closed the door tightly or removed the key from the ignition switch)

“Your engine oil pressure is low – prompt service is required”

He also tells you when the washer fluid, fuel, coolant and battery and gas are low.

The computer is a guy’s voice and when he said ‘thank you’ out loud people would look at me strangely because I would answer back. My husband used to call him my boyfriend.

I am selling this car because I have another New Yorker too.

The car has been maintained very well. It’s up to date with smog and registration.

On 8-14-2014 we replaced timing belt, replace the catalytic convertor and made sure it passed the smog certification. We spent $596

We also replaced the blower motor resistor for the air conditioner and its working great. We paid $261

We bought an extra door key: $ 17.29

Of course I needed a Chrysler key chain: $19.33
