1969 Citroen DS 21 Citromatic LHM green fluid car - Air Conditioned
Partial turning headlights included (not attached) - Used - As Is.
California Car - I have enjoyed this vehicle for some 20 years. It's time to move on to some other projects and give someone else a chance to ride with this classic.
Notes:- New battery- Good tires and all hubcaps- Floor padding and carpet intact- New headliner- Engine rebuilt within last 10k miles- Carburetor rebuilt this year- New fuel pump- New electrical loom installed- New brake light switch- New fuel filter and spark plugs- Seat covers on front and back over original leather seats (worn)- Center arm rest included- Head rests included (not installed)- Extra parts and some manuals included- Clock is disconnected to save battery when parked- New paint in last few years but does have a few chips/touch-ups- Rear tow hitch ball included- Fuel tank is cleaned and re-coated (fuel gauge needs fixing though)- One of the turning headlights is shown (under hood assembly is not included)- Dash includes all buttons and ash tray (non-smoker car)
Remaining Projects:- Radio needs to go back into dash (taken out during loom install)- Air Conditioning needs to be re-attached/revamped (was clipped in front end collision, ront end has been repaired since then)- Drives well but is probably due for nitrogen sphere recharge, fter which will drive even softer- Idle sometimes needs tuning/adjustment presently- Inner door panels and leather seats could use re-upholstering eventually, added more photos to show the rear, ash, eadliner and seat covers.- Pre-1975 cars do not require smog equipment, ut I believe I have the pump- Heater did not work when I got it - it's a warm weather or bundle up car
Overall it's in very good condition for its age and has had plenty of TLC, ncluding regular visits from a local mechanic. It is definitely a head-turner and great conversation starter, etting plenty of compliments every time I take it around town. You are always on stage with a car like this!The post-1968 models include the LHM fluid for all hydraulics, hich is non-corrosive compared to previous years, o leaks are far fewer in the maintenance long run.I bought the turning headlights separately and had them painted to match when the car was painted, hough it needs a few under the hood parts acquired to be ready to install.The aerial antenna is not shown in this photo, ut it is present/installed. One extra piece of body trim on each side was not attached by the body shop after painting, ut I have those as well. One spare tire (original 180 size) included.
Preferably car can be picked up in the Los Angeles area. Delivery is planned within a few days of completed funds transfer after arranging a reasonable meeting time with buyer. Sales tax may be required. Local Citroen and other car clubs have many events for networking about parts and maintenance and shows.
