Description

This is the nicest 1972 Charger I have ever seen and I do not want to sell it because I love it. I have been its caretaker since 2004. I purchased the car out of New Jersey from a body man who performed the restoration himself or oversaw any items being rebuilt using his contacts in the vehicle industry. The paint is beautiful and not showingits age because of how well we both kept it.This car is so straightit will be difficult to find onecomparable. I never did. The person owned the car for about ten years before me. I have all his restoration paperwork and my own for the work I did.The interior is clean with no tears or cracks (only modified area is where CD player is installed). The underneath is clean and the engine compartment is clean. There is no dirt crud or grease. Car was never driven in the rain or stored outdoors since its restoration by the prior owner. The car has new tires I put on last year (wide in the rear to complement the back end) flowmasters professionally rebuilt motor and tranny with paperwork. The car has a 727 posi rear end relatively highway friendly gears for drivability and powder coated headers. The car has a nice solid sound without any obnoxious bouncing and jumping. It has a shift kit installed in the tranny but you would never know it until you get on it. It has racing plugs oversized radiator and tranny cooler. It has a Holley 650 and an edelbrock high rise manifold. It has mopar valve covers. It has period correct cragers front and rear spoiler rallye louvered doors and rear lights along with rallye grill which was meant to mirror the 1971 the 1972 Rallye option really being the end of the end for mopar power. It does not have a matching numbers motor and was originally a 318 car. It now has a mint 1975 440 block professionally rebuilt with not more than a few thousand miles on it. I have only driven the car1000 miles since my ownership and the individual prior to me had the car stored most of the time after its restoration. There is zero rust. The car still wears all original floors and body panels. The only body work I have found besides its paint was a trunk patch professionally done to blend perfectly and some minor rear quarter work that I only know aboutbecause the prior owner told me. Floors are original and fenders appear original. I have a rallye dash I never installed but can include with the car along with an extraset of rear tires still wearing some tread anda variety ofother assorted new and used parts left over from the restoration. It does have an excellant sound system with speakers CD player and radio a tach and some gauages which would be the only non original appearing items in the interior. It has aftermarket outside dual mirrors. All lights horn wipers and heat work. The interior dome light is the only thing I can think of that doesnt work. The cars drives staright as an arrow even when I take my hands off the wheel or when I take my hands off the wheel and brake. It has power steering and drum brakesgood all around.Car is an A/C carwith all duct work still intact however I no longer have the brackets and compressor. Basically this car needs nothing but a person to drive it hopefully more than I had a chance to. I spent much more time cleaning maintaining it and making it as perfect as I could. I canbe reached at 203-913-4701 for further information and to discuss the car which I enjoy doing.I have a reasonable reserve.
