1985 John Hughes saw this actual car sat in it and said, want this one! Ferris Bueller Moviewas supposed to use a Porsche Turbo but he said "no way, his is the car I want".
Modena Design had been featured in top magazines (Car and Driver) praising Goyette's achievementand well off to a great start, he Movie Ferris Bueller day off aired in 1986: Ferrari sued ModenaDesign and won a Court ordered "Cease and desist order" and the factory was closed.They no longer could build factory cars but had parts left, o in an effort to recoup moneythey sold kits to individuals to self build (25-35 kits) (not factory built by Mark Goyette).
