I am offering a 1915 FORD Model T Roadster. I restored this vehicle in 1988-1989 and used it on several Model T Ford Club Tours in the Northeast. I built this car for use. At the time of restoration I replaced/rebuilt every bearing and bushing. The engine block is a later style with the 4 dip pan and the transmission is a 1926-1927 style so it has the wider brake band. I installed a reproduction VW style distributor and the engine has a generator and electric starter to make starting easier. At this time I have a 12 volt battery in it. The radiator and sheet metalwas purchased new. The bucket and trunk are originals that was restored. The wire wheels are 1926-1927 which allow the larger balloon tires for a slightly softer ride. The speedometer is missing the connector to the wheel hub and does not have the swivel. Top and upholstery was replaced and the windshield glass is safety glass. I recently purchased and installed a new gas tank - The one that was in the car was purchased in 1988-1989 but from sitting it had ruston the inside to the point that I did not want to try to clean it but felt installing another new one would be best.I purchased most items from Lang's OldCar Parts and are quality items. I also have a pile of receipts that I will pass along to the new owner.
I had enjoyed this car but life styles changed and I had stored this in a dry garage since 1994. I pulled it out replaced the gas tank and battery and it started right up and I drove it around the block. I could find any problems with this car but due to it's age I am selling this "As Is - Where Is" There is no warranty.
I am sure I have forgot to mention something in the description and will add to it as I remember things.
I will gladly show this vehicle to any interested person but would need to schedule this - I am not a dealer and have a day job and busy family to work around.
THIS VEHICLE IS LISTED FOR SALE LOCALLY AND I RESERVE THE RIGHT TO END THIS AUCTION AT ANY TIME IN THE EVENT THE VEHICLE IS SOLD OR IS NO LONGER FOR SALE.
I would prefer cash payment at time of pick up but am willing to work with buyers that would require transporting to their location. All costs and logistics must be made by the buyer. Payment in full must be made prior to me releasing the car and or title. Bank to Bank transfer would be allowed but I would not consider payment made until my bank verifies the payment has cleared. This usually takes 5-7 days. The title is a free and clear Pennsylvania title in my name.
If you have questions and would like to speak to me please email your phone number and I will contact you.
I DO NOT NEED ASSISTANCE SELLING THIS VEHICLE - DO NOT CONTACT ME IF YOU ARE A BROKER.
I AM ALSO NOT INTERESTED IN AMY TRADES - I AM SELLING THIS VEHICLE.
