It has ZERO rust ZERO rust repair and ZERO bondo. It was put in service originally by a California company called American Forest Products Corporation who among many other things made pencils! Like the kind we all had in elementary school...
The truck was purchased by a gentleman in the Sutter Creek area of California in 1961 and remained his daily driver until 2013. The truck was well maintained by a local auto shop through the years.
This is a strong running driving truck with working gauges, ights, nd brakes. It has the original straight 6 motor with 3 on the tree. Clutch and tranny work great!
The best part about this truck is the paint. We all love that patina look and this one has one of the coolest patina bodies I've ever seen. Started out a special order color in 1955 Called "Mountain Green" this color was painted over the ever popular oxide red primer so the patina 60 years in the making is a great combo that stands out. The doors were put on while in service at American Forrest Products and add a really cool vintage work truck look, o we chose to keep them.
It took 60 years for this truck to look this way and they are harder and harder to find.On Jan-14-16 at 07:24:57 PST, eller added the following information:
If you want a patina style truck that looks like a Hot Rod Farm Truck this is the truck to have!!
