Description

This is a beautiful Sapphire Blue Mustang Coupe with a white vinyl top with blue and white pony interior. The car was special ordered in August of 1965. It has factory air conditioning, ower steering and disc brakes. The car was ordered in Sapphire Blue which was a special order paint code because it actually only came on the Shelbys. The car is a show winner, inning numerous first place trophies, eople's choice and gold in MCA modified divisions. The car had an engine rebuild apprx. 30,000 miles ago and runs like a top. I drive it everywhere and would not hesitate to drive it across the country. It steers and drives just like it did when it was new. It was originally a two-barrel car and the previous owner changed it out to a four-barrell so the car has plenty of peep. The car also had spoked hub-cabs which believe it or not were stolen. The car was painted in 2003-04 and still looks exceptional. Now it has a super nice set of spoked Mustang wheels, nbsp;which look way better than the hub cabs. This car is awesome. The interior is perfect, he body is great. This car has not ever been wrecked and has documentation dating all the way back until it was new. The only bad I can find on the car is there is a tiny, iameter about the size of a pencil eraser bubble of rust,( I included a picture) which if I end up keeping the car will have fixed before it gets worse. This car is well maintained and has been babied it's entire life. I did add white strips to the rocker panel to bring out the white in the top but as you can tell from the last picture, he car pretty much looks like it did 25 - 30 years ago, hich is when the picture was taken. The only reason I am selling is because I am in the market for a '66 Mustang Convertible. It will be impossible to find a car in this good of condition for less money that you can drive everyday and win shows. The best of both worlds.
