Description

NO RESERVE!!!
This is a 1967 Ford Thunderbird. I bought it from a shop that was restoring it, ut went out of business. The engine is the 7.0 liter, ig block 428. Most of these came with 390's, o the 428 is pretty rare. The engine was freshly rebuilt when I bought it, nd has done less thin 500 miles since. It warms up very nicely and runs strong. The car recently had the suspension gone through and restored. At this time I also added front and rear anti-sway bars. The clock is a new old stock piece and works, ut has been disconnected. It has supplementary gauges for oil, emperature and battery. New fuel gauge sending unit, ustom auto sound radio with remote control and new speakers (in original spots). Car had just finished a full repaint when I bought it. Paint is Wimbledon white with a black painted top. Black stripes are on top of the clear coat, o it should be easily removable. Tires are brand new, ew battery, emote control for door locks. Electric windows and seat work well, runk is clean with spare tire and jack. Headlight doors work, nd the electrical system has been recently gone through, ncluding all new dash bulbs and rear sequential tail lights have been sorted out. Air conditioner and heater blow, ut A/C does not get cold. Everything seems to work (and the compressor was replaced just before I bought it), o probably just needs a charge. Chrome and trim are all good as well. Even the swing away steering wheel and idiot lights work. Steering box was rebuilt when suspension was gone through recently. Fuel lines and vacuum lines are new and car has been recently tuned. The car has a clean Californiatitle, urrently PNO.
Dash has a single crack, nd has been covered with a vinyl cover. Steering wheel is wrapped and the car has brand new custom floor mats. Carpet kit is new, s is the foam in the drivers power seat. Door panels are in good shape, lthough the carpet on the bottoms needs trimming. No problems, lunking or banging, lthough the rubber on the motor mounts is cracking. Has day-night rear view mirror and remote driver side mirror. Interior is very nice black, ith a small (less than a dime) poke hole in the headliner. So much has been done on it, t is hard for me to keep track. I have receipts for the work that has been done since I bought it. I will be including pictures in the next few days, ut I am not a great photographer. I am happy to talk about the car to your heart's content, nd will even consider a trade (maybe). Feel free to call me with questions or if you would like more pictures -- Sam, t 347-423-4243. Is also for sale locally, o I reserve the right to end the list early.
