Description

I am selling my 27 Ford five window, teel body, hopped and channeled T. I have spent years since I acquired the car going through and making it run and drive perfect. I’ve driven at 80 mph on the freeway and it tracks true, ides great, uns awesome and shows really well.

This is a hot rod…. not a rat rod… not a show car or trailer queen either, t’s just a nice little hot rod that wants to be cruised and shown at your local rod runs. It’s bare bones, tripped down, ough around the edges. and only what you need and is a fun as hell, ttention grabbing rod.

I am only selling because I need to. I am starting my own business and money is more important that toys right now, o absolutely no trades will be considered. Here are the details…

  • Edelbrock aluminum intake manifold.
  • Holley 600 4 BBL with electric choke and stainless throttle rod (new).
  • Electronic ignition with coil located under the dash.
  • Gear drive… I can’t confirm as I have not taken of the timing cover, ut when you hear a SBC that sounds blown, ut isn’t, t usually means it has a gear drive (new).
  • 8” ford rear end with mid-range gear ratio (I’d estimate 3.5 or 3.73)
  • Turbo 350 transmission from Summit Racing (new).
  • Torque converter and shift kit (new).

  • Sounds awesome and completely tunable (the color looks similar to cast aluminum).
  • Cast aluminum air cleaner with four-hole phenolic spacer for improved bottom end torque.
  • Aluminum valve convers with new lathe turned breathers (look like vintage Cal Customs, ut not sure).
  • Custom fabricated aluminum radiator (new).
  • Mechanical fuel pump (new).

  • Chopped 6 inches.
  • Channeled over frame 4 inches.
  • Roof structure was made with square tube steel and welded to the top steel panel.

  • The glass is cut down (not replaced with plexi) and there is no door glass or tracks.
  • Brand new baby blue paint by Justin Vincent Kustoms out of Seattle, A (the car used to be PPG DP40LF but thought the semi-gloss would add a little style to a flat blue primer) … the DP was sanded down and used as the base for the new paint.
  • Louvered rear deck lid (factory Ford steel) with chrome spoon clasps and riveted So Cal Speed Shop badge.
  • The antennae and license plate have been frenched.
  • The firewall is flat aluminum (I will remove my HAMB firewall plaque before shipping because it’s mine, nd you aren’t me J).
