Custom Built 1929-1932 based Ford Model "A" WOODY. This car was built by Splinter Auto Works Inc. in Plymouth, Indiana. 1.6 Ltr engine, automatic transmission. Just over 10,000 miles. Built in 1986. Registered and titled as a 1986 Legend, with a clear New York State title. Taxed, registered and inspected in NYS. Color is grey with Honey-colored wood. Very shiny and smooth! Wood finish with Black fenders, tastefully done with Red pin striping. Body is super straight and mostly fiberglass. There are no rust issues - it's been kept in a garage! Wood is Ash and Birch in excellent condition. Front and rear Model A bumpers with model A taillights. Interior is done in all black with firm, thick cushioned seats. Room for four passengers with plenty of head room to accommodate a 6'2" driver. Two rear doors. Tilt-Out front windshield that is adjustable. Glove box, top wipers, wood steering wheel and AM/FM radio. Tires and wheels are six matching chrome rims with wire baskets and duel spares that come with nicely presented wheel covers. Mechanical condition is excellent! Always serviced by the best mechanic in our area with NO expense spared! The Woody runs like an Adirondack hiker - over hill and dale. Built on a Chevette frame and has a four cylinder Chevy engine. Automatic Transmission. Good Brakes. Has MOTO meter hood Ornament with wings and temp gauge. This is a fantastic car that can go in parades, be used for advertising, or just a really cool car to drive! This vehicle is 100% trustworthy and FUN!! Take it to the Catskills, Adirondacks or the Beach - drive it anywhere. Comes with two different Woody-Styled trailers. A matching Teardrop Camper that is custom-made to match the car, has a full-sized mattress for 2, stereo system and a back that lifts up to a kitchen type area for cooking. Plugs into any electrical outlet for full power. Camper has a Cedar carry-all on the roof and two Antique wooden steamer trunks fitted out with Coleman coolers for Food & Beverages. The second (other) Trailer isa large wooden steamer trunk on wheels.The car has a 12' authentic Adirondack wooden plank canoe (value $3,500) on top and a 12' custom all-wooden surfboard (value $1,500) also on top. The matching wood paddles ride on the Teardrop looking like wings. Thousands have been spent on the vehicles and all the details to get just the right look. There are three sets of custom wooden signs for the car and some blanks so you can make your own. These are easily changed. Currently, it has "OLDWOODY'S" Surf & Tackle Shop. It also has "WOODSTOCK MUSIC COMPANY" and "OLDWOODY'S" Bike and Clock Repair. Every time we drive this car, people beep, shout, give thumbs up and chase it down the road. Car shows call and ask us to bring the car and trailer. Restaurants have asked if we could 'just leave it out front'... The price doesn't come close to the money and time invested in it.
