Description

Hi, and thanksfor looking at my auction. I'm selling my Mustang Convertible. It's a very nice car and I hate to sell it but I need to make room in my shop for a truck I'm finishing soon. This foxbody has had a mini restoration. I restore classic cars and have my own shop. I know these cars well. This one was originally a rust free 4 cylinder car and was converted to a 5.0. No body rot or rusted out junk. Adult owned. It was red with a black top, I repainted it a brighter red ( Ford Race Red Base/Clear) and installed a new top. It looks, runs, and drives very good. Not a race car by any means but will get you down the road. The underside of the car is solid. Very important for unibody cars, especially convertibles. In full disclosure.. I am a dealer but this is one of my personal projects. I'm an enthusiast and haveowned quite a few of these Foxbody stangs over the years.
Here is what I have done to it over the last year:
  • Complete Body Restoration
  • Base/Clear Paint in Ford Race Red
  • Painted factory wheels satin black with the Race Red accent
  • Brand new tires
  • Seats redone with matching door panel inserts with Mustang logo
  • New brakes front & rear
  • Installed Cobra style rear spoiler with 3rd brake light
  • All new rubber seals on the body, doors, windows and top
  • New convertible top with under liner and glass window
  • All new front lights
  • Installed polished Cobra intake
  • Matching 24lb injectors and matched 70MM mass air meter
  • New distributor
  • New fog lights
  • Freshly rebuilt AOD transmission with new converter

This car looks better in person than the Pics show

For sale locally and reserve the right to end auction if sold. Prefer you make any offer in person after you have seen and driven the car. The car is 26 years old and not perfect, but pretty darn nice. Can be tagged historic. Check engine light (injector and meter change) and airbag light is on. I don't have a scanner that will read ODBI. Car was not wrecked. It had all original sheet metal in good shape when I got it. Please don't bid if you don't have the money or have not cleared it with whoever... it cost money to place these ads. Non paying bidders will be reported.
